My name is Maya. I'm a writer and editor with extensive experience in publishing, marketing, and advertising. A few of the books I’ve edited include:

I’ve written a number of articles, blog posts, and various short pieces for magazines, some of which you can read at my Samples page.

As a copywriter, I created many print ads, brochures, advertorials and more. Visit my Samples page to see PDFs of some of this work.

I’ve created knit and crochet designs. In particular, I designed several crochet patterns for Crochet Today, including a popular baby bib and bobble-covered chair cushions.

I am a playwrite. My youthful one-act play, Feather Weather, was produced in the first annual One-Act Play Festival at Alma College in 1999.
